CV ATS Checker is built so that your resume never leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. Specifically:

Your resume file and its contents are never uploaded. Parsing and scoring happen entirely inside your browser.
Any job-posting text you paste is processed locally and is never sent anywhere.
We do not use analytics, tracking, cookies, advertising, or fingerprinting.
We make no network requests of any kind. There is no server, no database, and no account.

How your data is processed

All analysis (text extraction from PDF/DOCX, ATS scoring, keyword matching) runs locally in your browser using bundled code. When you close the tab, nothing is retained.

Permissions

The extension requests no host permissions and no access to your browsing data. Clicking the toolbar icon opens the tool in a new browser tab.

Third parties

None. No data is shared with any third party because no data is collected.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same location with a new effective date.
